Fort Bard, with its bastions, its buildings and its prison, will bring you to a far-off age, among illustrious figures that passed here, from Napoleon to Stendhal. The Fort also hosts many museums and exhibitions, both permanent and temporary.
You can’t leave the lower Aosta Valley without a stop at Salumificio Maison Bertolin, a cured meat factory representing authenticity and tradition.
