The images of a fairytale snow-covered Cogne, the warmth and enthusiasm of the Aosta Valley public and the victory signed Federico Pellegrino and Francesco De Fabiani have traveled around the world. Five months have passed since that spectacular World Cup weekend, dedicated to cross-country skiing.

Cogne has received in more than one occasion compliments and appreciations for the spectacular show and for the great organization of the competitions. Cogne seems to be everywhere: on the best athletes’ social networks, in the talks during the World Championships in Seefeld and at the Fis Calendar in Dubrovnik (Croatia).

On the wave of enthusiasm and after a bit of well-deserved rest, the organizational machine is back to work to prepare the next sport events. Cogne doubles again and during the next season, in addition to the now traditional and historic MarciaGranParadiso, the resort will add another world event. From 7th to 14th March 2020, Cogne will host the Masters World Cup and bring hundreds and hundreds of cross-country skiers to Aosta Valley.

Six days of competitions, a much broader side cultural program for those who love narrow skis in order to experience and discover Aosta Valley, but also take advantage of it for a few days of vacation. If on one hand there is a competitive calendar to be respected, on the other, there is a lineup of events that the group Events in Cogne is already planning.

There is no shortage of attractions in Cogne and throughout the region: the staff is refining a great range of initiatives that will be submitted to the presidency of the World Master Cross-Country Ski Association, arriving on the S.Orso meadow on July 19th and 20th for the usual inspection.

Events In Cogne will also have to carry on the traditional MarciaGranParadiso which will take place over the weekend from January 31st to February 2nd 2020. Several hundred cross-country skiers are also expected and since  July 1st they can already register for this 38th edition.

Before focusing exclusively on the future, Cogne will once again relive the spectacular stage of the World Cup on 16th and 17th February. On July 14th the speaker Paolo Mei will conduct an evening together with the local athletes who competed on the race. Meeting point in Cogne, on the main square at 18.30.

Recently Italy seems to be increasingly at the center of major events dedicated to winter sports and Aosta Valley has been for several seasons in the spotlight with cross-country skiing, snowboarding and alpine skiing.

Cogne future events will be organized once again with the great support of the regional administration and the Municipality of Cogne.
